My seven year old already needs deoderant.?

Is it safe to use deoderant on my 7 year old. She plays hard and then comes home from school with stinkin armpits. I dont want people to start picking on her for that. She is only 7. Help? dont know what other options i might have if its not safe to use deoderant on her. any input would be appreciated. Thanks
