Skipping in songs on itunes?

What i have found with itunes is that it skips corrupted files. So if your getting a skipping file make sure its one that itunes can handle and that its not corrupted (Try opening it with another music player) and if it works there then its itunes if not its your file, if you got it on itunes just contact apple and they will issue you a credit. If not then rerip or download it.
