To all of the Brits.?

I love Britain even though I've never been there. It's almost like a calling for me to go to Cambridge, England and study there. I'm American, but I find myself talking in an English accent. Not as a mockery though, I do it because I love the elegance of how English was spoken. Can you tell me something about it? Can you tell me if you think I would enjoy it more than the US because I find myself wishing I was born their. Thank you for answering, Go Britannia!
