My Parent's Dont Accept Me, Nor My Look?

Hi Syd I don't know how old you are so I'm just give you some suggestions. If you live in the UK and are 16 or over you should think about going to the council and possibly putting your name down for a flat as its a long waiting list and it sounds to me like you need space from your family. What you have to understand is your family do love you and they are just trying to give you the best in life. No disrespect to your family because its their views but I disagree with them. I feel kids should express and choose the path they want to live unless obviously its crime or something dangerous. Who cares what you look like as long as you are happy with how you look it is all that matters. I could understand if you was being disruptive at school but you ain't. Your not going to do well in a job if you hate it. Have you tried talking to them about it or another family member. To be fair I don't know much about cultures but a look doesn't change your religious views try explaining that. Could you possibly stay over a mates every now and again to let you be yourself. I'm afraid if you are under the age of 16 you have to do what they say as they are your parents. Once your over 16 in the UK you are considered an adult and can follow your own path. Sorry I ain't much help.
