How much attention is too much for a 4-year old kid?

I think it's normal. Like my mom says, too much love is never bad especially when they're so little. Our 4 y/o boy acts similarly. Yeah, sometimes we give in and sometimes we have to sternly ask him to wait until we're done with whatever it is we're doing. I'm pretty sure that as they become school-aged they become more independent. In 10 years we'll be the one begging for their attention.
