Medication for dog with Congestive Heart Failure?

My 11 year old Collie has recently been diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. The vet has prescribed Vetmedin and Nelio tablets. I am wondering if she also needs to be on a tablet as a diuretic. Her belly seems swollen with fluid. I would appreciate answers from anyone experienced with this medication please.
